This exhibition is a telling of the Manchaha story- of the creation of a new wave of artists from rural India who are weaving their aspirations, experiences and dreams into woven wonders using carpet industry leftovers and their intuition.
ARTISTS IN RESIDENCE
The Artist Residency hosted by Dhun has weavers of Manchaha making rugs inspired by the landscape and life at Dhun where they are making ‘sculptural carpets’ intended for walls instead of floors, elevating the weaver to the artist.
